[Photo/Xinhua] China welcomes Bulgaria to export more high-quality agricultural goods and encourages its domestic companies to invest in the Central and Eastern European country, Premier Li Keqiang told Bulgarian President Rumen Radev on Friday in Sofia. The premier said both counties have set an example for relations, with a slew of achievements made in key areas such as trade and agriculture. China would like to strengthen high-level exchanges and expand pragmatic cooperation under the principles of mutual benefits and development, Li said. It will also keep closer exchanges in tourism and culture with Bulgaria, he said. China will actively consider Radev's proposal to establish a research center in Sofia on China-CEEC cooperation, also known as the 16+1 mechanism, Li added. As one of the first to establish diplomatic ties with New China, Bulgaria would like to strengthen bilateral cooperation in fields such as manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, technology, culture and people-to-people exchanges, Radev said. Bulgaria highly values China's role in safeguarding international trade and market economy principles and supports the 16+1 mechanism, he said. It's also willing to set up a Sofia research center to contribute its wisdom to promoting the 16+1 mechanism and China-Europe relations, he added. wristbands with a message
